Upgrade Notes

XMR_RPC_USER="wallet_rpc"
XMR_RPC_PASSWORD="your_wallet_rpc_password"
XMR_WALLET_PASSWORD="optional_encryption_password"

Security

  • Wallet files must be backed up regularly
  • RPC access should be restricted to localhost or trusted IPs
  • Strong passwords are required for wallet encryption and RPC authentication
  • Log monitoring is essential for detecting suspicious activity

Added

Monero (XMR) Integration

  • Added a comprehensive XMR guide covering daemon and wallet RPC integration, with step-by-step Ubuntu setup instructions
  • Added wallet RPC configuration guidance for managing user wallets
  • Added security best practices specific to a Monero deployment
  • Added daemon RPC on port 18081 for blockchain operations
  • Added wallet RPC on port 18083 for wallet management
  • Added a queue for sequential wallet operations, which prevents race conditions
  • Added deposit monitoring, with 6 confirmations required before crediting
  • Added withdrawal processing, with automatic handling of locked funds

Changed

Master Wallet Management

  • Changed master wallet balances to update as part of the main wallet view rather than as a separate step
  • Changed balance processing to run in parallel, with timeout protection
  • Changed error handling so a fault on one chain no longer blocks the others
  • Changed the caching of wallet balance data

Order Processing

  • Changed order submission to identify the market type, so exchange and ecosystem orders each reach their own endpoint
  • Changed the error messages shown when an order submission fails

Documentation

  • Changed the Monero documentation to cover essential setup only, dropping mining configurations and complex proxy setups, and brought it into line with what the platform actually does

Fixed

Order Routing

  • Fixed ecosystem market orders being sent to the exchange order endpoint instead of the ecosystem one
  • Fixed market, limit and stop order forms all routing ecosystem orders to the wrong place, so traders can now place orders on ecosystem markets
  • Fixed ecosystem markets not being identified as ecosystem markets when an order was submitted
